BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER FOR SOUTH EAST
Serengeti Systems is poised to grow substantially now that a number of new product modules have completed development and have been installed at key customer sites. We now require an experienced Business Development Manager that:
- knows the local government and higher education market intimately
- has an appreciation of internet technologies in general and of document management systems in particular
- is familiar with competition in our markets
The skills set we consider key to the position are presentation skills, negotiation skills, handling of objections, and, of course, cold calling. As the position involves you in communication at all levels, from CEO’s, to Directors and managers of Business Improvement Groups, e-gov Managers, Line Managers in Business Groups like Benefits, etc., excellent communication skills are essential.

You should have a minimum of two years sales experience in Local Government, a keen interest in software technologies, and proven experience in successfully responding to tenders.
